This thesis focuses on the 25 years of archaeological activity of French scientist Sang Zhihua(Emile Licent,1876-1952)in northern China,analyzes the relationship between Sang Zhihua and the five important sites he has discovered,how he collects and preserves specimens,and explores how he created the Northern Xinjiang Museum.And operate.This article involves many disciplines,including history,archaeology,museums,etc.,so the sources of information to be found are also more complicated.In order to better demonstrate Sang Zhihua's research activities and achievements,this paper is divided into five main parts.The first part takes Sang Zhihua's own travel record as the timeline.From the 1914 he visited in China to the 1935 years of his departure,he carried out a series of activities in chronological order,summarizing the research he obtained.Achievements,and combined with the natural social factors of China at that time to analyze the reasons behind his activities.The second part briefly describes his contribution to the Paleolithic cultural sites in China by exploring his relationship with the five major sites he discovered.The third part combines the existing historical archives of Hebei University to study the background and process of the Beijiang Museum that he built in the past.Under the premise of sorting out the literature,it clears out the data and details that are closer to the historical reality.The fourth part analyzes how the Sang Zhihua operates the Beijiang Museum by arranging the archives of the museum and the travel notes of the people at that time,and explains the exhibits of the museum at that time.The fifth part echoes the first part,which is to explore the scientific research results of Sang Zhihua during his stay in China,to reflect his influence at that time,in order to analyze the character motivation,sort outthe historical process,highlight the research results,objectively evaluate the history and reality.The purpose of the action.This paper is more about expounding and objectively commenting on him as a scientific worker.
