The main purpose of this study is to explore the status,differences and types of teaching concepts of primary school English teachers in Northeast China.The questionnaire survey method,interview method and classroom observation method are mainly used.The questionnaire is the main research method of this study."Scale of Teaching Concept of Primary School English Teachers"(hereinafter referred to as STCET)in the sub-quantitative table of Xu Quan(2011)doctoral thesis "Influence Factors of College English Teachers' Beliefs"-The revision of the teacher's teaching concept.The "Scale of Teaching Concept of Primary School English Teachers " mainly includes four theoretical dimensions and five content dimensions.The theoretical dimensions include rule view,skill view,communication view and cultural view;content dimensions include teaching objectives,teaching methods,teaching content,the role of the students and teachers and the positioning of the English subject.The content dimension mainly provides the source of the items compiled by the questionnaire,and the theoretical dimension is the basis for the preparation of the questionnaire.The author distributed a total of 470 questionnaires in the Northeast,of which 455 were valid.Statistical analysis was performed using spss22.0 and Amos20.0.At the same time,six primary school English teachers from two ordinary schools in a city in Northeast China were selected for interviews and observations,and the following conclusions were obtained:First,the primary school English teacher teaching concept mainly tends to the skill conception.According to the analysis results,the primary school English teachers' teaching concept in Northeast China has the highest score in the skill dimension,indicating that the primary school English teachers in the region pay more attention to the cultivation of students' listening,speaking,reading and writing skills.In other words,the primary school English teacher teaching concept is still based on examinations.Second,there are also differences in the teaching views of primary school English teachers in different contexts.According to the research results,the male and female English teachers of primary school have lower skill and communication concept than the English teachers of primary school;the non-English majors' English teachers of primary school have lower average skills,communication and cultural concept than English majors;the English teachers of primary school with a bachelor's degree have a higher level of rule than the undergraduate and master's.The undergraduate English teacher's skill concept is higher than the junior and English masters and masters.the English teachers of primary school have higher exchange views than junior college English teachers with undergraduate and junior college degrees.The primary school English teachers with undergraduate degrees have higher cultural views than junior and master's and the English teachers of primary school.the expert the English teachers of primary school have higher communication concept than the skilled and novice the English teachers of primary school.The cultural outlook of the novice the English teachers of primary school is higher than that of the skilled the English teachers of primary schoolFinally,based on the performance of primary school English teachers in the concept of teaching,the types of primary school English teachers can be divided into the knowledge type,the skill communication type and the cultural exchange type.Further analysis shows that primary school English teachers in Northeast China mainly focus on imparting knowledge and skills communication.Among them,teachers who teach knowledge type account for 31.9% of the total number,and teachers with skill communication type account for 44.1% of the total number.
