Its theory is not perfect, and it has not form a complete subject system yet, especially the study of the teaching skills involved is not profound. In the construction of the whole Chinese education and promotion system, teaching skills have took much attention of teachers, and meanwhile, it seems trivial to a certain extent. Many people think that it is just a kind of experience accumulation of teachers and a demonstration of their teaching style, so they have not give it enough care. So far, the systematic teaching research in a large scale of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Language (MTCSOL) has not conduct. But booming development of Chinese international education business requires each part of classroom teaching becoming scientific and artistic. To meet the demands of cultivating Chinese culture talents rapidly and with high quality for all countries in the world, we should form the teaching mode with own characteristics. Therefore, it is extremely urgent to focus on the study of the Chinese teaching skills towards foreigners. As Mr. Lv BiSong said,"In order to develop Chinese teaching towards foreigners, we should constantly improve the quality of teaching; and to improve the overall quality of Chinese teaching, we must carry out theoretical study and improve the whole level of discipline theory." As a skill, the use of games in teaching has been more common and mature. Because of its characteristics that enjoy both recreation and task, we can expect various optimistic possibilities and auxiliary, promoting effect in the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Therefore, it has certain research significance to think about the design and use of games in Chinese teaching towards foreigners. In such a situation, I conducted the artical that Analyzing the Use of "Serial Type" Game in Courses of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, which is especially designed for classroom activities of Chinese teaching. This paper will start from the practice of Chinese classroom teaching. Combining with the analysis of factors impacting students’ learning effect of Chinese, I try to design a "serial type" game pertinently according to specific teaching activities. First, I introduced the background and origin of this design. Second, I made great effort to demonstrated how to apply "serial type" game in different parts of teaching in detail. Then, I try to analyze the theoretical basis of this design, and explore the effect of its use in different parts of classroom teaching though teaching practice, such as vocabulary, grammar, listening, speaking and so on.
