Ying shi(????)is a historical sketchbook written by Yue Ke in the Southern Song Dynasty,with a total of 140 articles in 15 volumes,including state politics,famous anecdotes,culture,art,religion and spectral stories,geography,construction,and so on.Stories in the book were happened from the time of the Emperor Taizu in the Northern Song Dynasty to the age when Yue Ke was living in.Yue Ke used to hear from his friends or relatives to write these stories,so that the book has excellent high historical value.This paper is divided into two parts.The first part is the theoretical part of the discussion,which is the study about Ying shi(????).The first chapter is the introduction,which is the comprehensive presentation of the previous research results and the research methods used in this paper;The second chapter is the textual researches of the author,the name of the book,the origins and sequence of various editions.The third chapter is the classification of the stories in the book and the evaluation about the documentation value of this book.It is considered that inspite of the problems,such as the unture recordation and the bias attitude,this book also has high value in researches about Yue Ke,Chinese history and texual criticism.The second part of the discussion is a emendation of the the first five volumes of this book,which regards the best current edition of Yuan Dynasty as a collating Dibon,the aberrant edition of Song Dynasty and the Jiang Su's edition in Ming Dynasty as proofreading edition.The Qian Rujing's edition in Ming Dynasty and the Yue Yuansheng's edition in Ming Dynasty also took important part in the proofreading.In addition,I also used San Chao Bei Meng Hui Bian(????????),Jian Yan Yi Lai Xi Nian Yao Lu(??????????),Song Hui Yao Ji Gao(????1??),Song Shi(????)and collected works as references to verificine the names and toponymies in this book with the expectation to in favour of the comprehensiveresearches about Ying shi(????)and Yue Ke.
