A Study Of Zuixiao Magazines Devoted To Chinese Short Stories In The Republic Of China

Short stories have unique stylistic features,which determines their unique position in the development of literature.In the period of literary change,the style of short stories is often easier for writers and scholars to experiment and explore new ideas and views.The late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China are important transitional stages in the development of Chinese literature.In the process of constant impact and renewal of traditional literary concepts and the ups and downs of literary trends of thought,short stories have been given the most artistic innovations as experimental objects,which to a large extent demonstrates the“pioneering” characteristics of literary change.The short story special issue Zuixiao magizne was first published in the 1920 s,when the magizne industry flourished.It not only had the characteristics of magizne literature at that time,but also showed a different appearance,with a unique personality of running magiznes.Because of the loss of the unified theme of the times,the writer's personality is more freely reflected,especially in the creation of short stories.Because of its short length,it can show vivid personality more vividly and attract a large number of writers to devote themselves to the creation of short stories.This paper is divided into four chapters and supplemented by appendix at the end.Chapter one presents the whole beginning and end of the publication of Zuixiao Magizne.The background of its publication is analyzed to prove its inevitability.Secondly,based on the Journal itself,the paper analyses its success in occupying a corner of the literary market,such as the external form of the journal.Chapter two focuses on the detailed classification of the novelists in Zuixiao magizne.Because of the large number of contributors,novelists are roughly classified into three types:magizne type,scholar type and professional type.And then analyses its influence on the Fiction Circle from different perspectives.But what we should pay attention to here is that most of the novelists have the experience of running magiznes and editing.The author only judges their outstanding aspects according to the data,not separating them.Chapter three the author analyzes the theme and stylistic features of the short stories in thesmallest newspaper from the perspective of the history of novels.This chapter is divided into two parts.On the one hand,analyses the themes of short stories in Zuixiao magizne.At the same time,this paper makes a comparative study of the corresponding subject matter in ancient literature,and explores the transitional characteristics of modern short stories with the example of Zuixiao magizne.Because of the wide range of themes in the Zuixiao magizne,two types of themes,Love and Marriage novel and Detective novel,are selected for comparative study.On the other hand,explores the stylistic forms of short stories in Zuixiao Magizne.This chapter chooses a comparative study with the stylistic forms of ancient vernacular short story and analyzes how Zuixiao Magizne inherits and brings forth new ideas to the stylistic form of traditional short stories.
