| Chopin was involved in almost all genres of piano composition, such as etudes, ballads, scherzo, sonatas, nocturnes, mazurkas, polonaises, etc.,and variations were a less productive branch of his piano work.Variations in B flat major op.12 is a piece of music and technique that is relatively valuable for performance.Through understanding and consulting materials,it is found that there is little research on Chopin’s variations in China at present, and the data is relatively scarce. There are only two master’s theses and one journal article on the background analysis and music creation discussion of this work.In this paper, the opera adaptation as a starting point, from the social and cultural background of the work of a brief description, and then focus on the five versions of music from the comparison, for example to explain the performance interpretation. This paper elaborates from three aspects. The first part briefly introduces Chopin and his piano music creation and the history of opera adaptation in the 19 th century. The second part analyzes the music of each part in detail. The third part is the core part of this paper.Through the comparison of five versions of music score and three pianists’ performance recordings, combined with the music analysis of the second part, this part illustrates the revelation I get in the performance interpretation of this song. |
