Crossover And Symbiosis:The Application Of New Media Art In Theatrical Stage Design

Since the mid 20 th century,with the rapid development of computer and Internet technology,the new media art has changed the traditional mode of thinking,a new design concept was created constantly to expand the boundaries of traditional art.Drama as a comprehensive art will inevitably be influenced by the new media art.The development of new technology has brought new opportunities for the drama art,conception and patterns of the traditional drama stage were impacted.Therefore it must be improving and go deep into while in changing,and to seek more in line with the era demand expression."Crossover" is to break through the old thinking bastion of traditional design,which aims to "symbiosis" new design methodology.The crossover and integration of new media art and dramatic art not only gave a new language design to drama stage,but also promoted the transformation of stage design concept and thinking mode.Dramatists’ would not stuck in one media technique specializing,but with more freedom and openness to conform the theme concept,performance environment and other objective conditions,seeking the perfect combination of technology and art.Unlike traditional stage design,the integration of new media art enriched the expression form of stage art,stage of time and space were extend,there is no doubt that an innovation of traditional art stage.With the development of new media drama experiment,new media art and stage art have been constantly well-organized in integrated.Further study of new media plays,the creation and precious experiments of predecessors’ will be extracted and integrated respectively,these ideas for future stage design innovation and prosperity of theatre art has very important guidance value.Therefore,this thesis have been introduced by an opening form for the new media art,combing application value in the design of currently new media play actual results and latest dynamic,to explore the correspondency of sicence technology and perfect design theme,realizes the symbiotic strength fusion with both new media art and drama symbiotic,in order to offer some new thinking or possible to new media drama creation.
