Although modal verb is a part of the Chinese verb,it has many differences with the meaning and usage of the general verb,and it also has different meanings among the individual words.It is difficult to distinguish clearly between each other.Therefore,for the foreign students who learning Chinese,modal verb is not easy to understand and use.This grammar topic has always been one of the most difficult points in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.In order to understand the mastery degree of modal verb of Korean students,this paper will analyze the eight common Chinese modal verbs from the perspective of acquisition order.Through the corpus and questionnaires,we can learn the acquisition of the eight modal verbs.Based on this,comparing with the textbooks,and putting forward relevant suggestions.This paper is composed of five parts: The first is the introduction,which mainly introduces the subject topics basis and the significances,the research status,and the theories and research methods used in this study.In the second part,according to the existing works and literatures,the specific senses of the modal verbs can be obtained.Then explain the similarities and differences of the confusing modal verbs,and compare the similarities and differences between the Chinese and Korean.In the third part,the original corpus of the eight modal verbs of each certificate level of Korean students is extracted from the HSK dynamic composition corpus,and statistics and analysis are carried out to obtain the acquisition order of eight modal verbs.In the fourth part,based on the corpus,a questionnaire survey was conducted to obtain the order of acquisition of the eight modal verbs and the specific senses,and the subjective ranking of the eight modal verbs.The results were compared to verify the scientificity and to analyze the differences.The fifth part compares acquisition order with the order of the textbooks.After drawing the conclusions,putting forward the suggestions from the two aspects of teaching materials and teacher teaching.
