Semantic knowledge integration is an important cognitive process newly discovered in the process of semantic memory.It integrates the knowledge of individual experience to generate new knowledge,and the integrated knowledge can be treated as a known fact in the brain.Transitive reasoning refers to reasoning consisting of two or more judgments with transitive relations.It is an indirect relational reasoning and a special type of deductive reasoning.In the past,the researchers used the similarly similar text processing process to refer to the two as the relationship integration,but did not distinguish the processing mechanism of the internal cognitive nerve.This study aims to further examine the differences in brain activation between semantic knowledge integration and transitive reasoning in cognitive processes.We also refer to the two as relationship integration as semantic integration.The difference is that we regard transitive reasoning as a comparative transfer relationship of "A > B,B > C,A and C are A > C";semantic knowledge integration is regarded as an alternative transfer relationship of "A = B,B = C,A and C are A = C",and we are the first to divide knowledge integration into two situations,one is the integration of delayed semantic knowledge,which integrates the past knowledge and experience with the new knowledge;the other is the integration of instant semantic knowledge,which integrates different new knowledge.We will connect and distinguish the three through experimental methods.Research 1 uses fNRI technology to focus on the spatial activation of semantic knowledge integration and transitive reasoning.Using the Chinese version of the revised Hannon and Daneman(2001;2014)relational integration experimental paradigm,real-time monitoring of real-time semantic knowledge integration,delayed semantic knowledge integration and transitive reasoning blood oxygen levels in the frontal and Parietal area,the converted Beta value is a sign of activation of the cerebral cortical area.Research 2 uses ERP technology to focus on whether there is a difference in EEG during the time course between semantic knowledge integration and transitive reasoning.Using the Chinese version of the revised Bauer and Jackson(2014)semantic knowledge integration experimental paradigm,real-time monitoring of well-known facts,real-time knowledgeintegration facts,delayed knowledge integration facts,transitive reasoning facts and novel facts of brain waves in the frontal and Parietal area,the three phases of P200,N400 and P600 are used to observe the different stages of semantic memory processing.The results show that: 1.Semantic knowledge integration and transitive reasoning are different organizational processing methods of knowledge relations under the category of semantic memory.The brain activation patterns of both are similar,and both the parietal and frontal cortex are activated,and the activation degree of the two is different in the Angular Gyrus.2.The time course of semantic knowledge integration and transitive reasoning is: preliminary semantic analysis of fact sentences is carried out in about 200 ms.There is no significant difference between them;semantic processing of different fact types is performed around 400 ms,semantic knowledge integration facts and transitive reasoning The facts are divided;there is no significant difference in the grammar analysis between the two in about 600 ms.3.The review of the original knowledge during the learning process can promote the efficiency of the integration of new and old knowledge and enrich the knowledge base of semantic memory.
