This analysis which is based on the Slow foxtrot's competition choreography of champions of WDSF from 2008 to 2017 selects six indexes including Figures,Figure System,Body Position,Line Figures,Timing and Floor Using to compare the different competition choreography of the champions and makes an exploring attempt to discover the tendency of the development of choreography.According to the WDSF 2.1 scoring system,the author chooses these six indexes and takes some expert comments in order to receive some heuristic research results which may be an enhancement and supplement of the existing research.This paper,the result of preliminary research and experience,is a tantative idea and I hope it will apply enlightening suggestion for those seeking not only to creat a higher lever of performance but also to venture successfully into more competitive areas.Last but not lest,I wish it will help teachers who have trains their pupils,using good principles within the competition system.The development of Slow foxtrot's competition choreography as shown below:Basic figures always occupy the main part,the advanced figures such as figures of strong movement & changing of shapes,figures contains spin actions and figures of swivel and routines are using more and more frequently;The development of figure system is mainly reflected in the increase of Curve-Linear figures;Diffrernt types of Body Positions are using nowdays which mostly change frequently.Line figures' using is conatant but is still the indispensable part and highlight of the choreography.The development of Timing is mainly reflected in the increase of Rubato;More and more changing of moving directon appears in the high lever competitons which improves that the using of floors is getting more difficult and of course requires more techniqual presentation.
