Continue to modify the Dance Sport competition rules to promote the development of Dance Sport in some extent. The Dance Sport competition rule not only stipulates the athletes and judges in accordance with the competition rules of Dance Sport just to sports dance competition. More importantly, the evolution of Dance Sport competition rules reflects the Dance Sport in the innovative techniques, the perfect of training methods, the high-tech development of venue and competition facilities.World DanceSport Federation(WDSF)competition rules as the object of stufy. The study used the research methods of literature data, interviews, questionnaire and other research methods to survey the international and national adjudicators of Dance Sport, and the national Olympic team members of Chinese Dance Sport 2014. Through to study the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) competition rules which from 2003 to 2013, focuses on the changing content of Dance Sport competition rules to understand the evolution of Dance Sport competition rules. Analysis the reason for the evolution and its influence. Then outline the process from the origin to perfection of Dance Sport competition rules. Finaly provide valuable reference for the resarcher of Dance Sport.The study found:(1)The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) competition rules revision were mainly rules for competitions-showdance, rules for competitions-couples, rules for couples, rules for chairman and adjudicators, followed by rules for competition production-in general, and rules for competitions-formations for fifth, general sixth, and finally rules for competitions-team matches In 2003-2013. (2) The mainly reasons for the evolution of The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF competition rules which are adapt to the development of Dance Sport, ensure the competitions’normative and fairness,and become one of the Olympic project. (3) The mainly affects for the evolution of The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) competition rules which are improve the regulatory for the competition organization and management, make clear the responsibilities of adjudicators and change the training methods ofathletes.
