Wang Xiaobo was a well-known novelist at the end of the 20th century. In the literary trends such as new realism and new generation,Wang Xiaobo’s works were not included in any of them.As an outsider,he played an important role in 90s literary landscape. The series of Time Trilogy is Wang Xiaobo’s masterpiece.Among them, the Golden Age novels include Golden Age,At Thirty,Fleeting Time.Love in the Revolutionary Period,My Yin and Yang, etc.,which are works in the context of the Cultural Revolution period; The Silver Age novels include Silver Age,Future World,2015.etc.,which are works in the context of future time and space. The Bronze Age novels include Wan Shou Temple,Red night running,Looking for Musou. The ministry of the Tang Dynasty was the background of the times.Although they correspond to the present, the future and the history, which have a large time span, but they have a common realistic orientationThroughout the novels in the Time Trilogy series, the operation of power relations in individuals has always been an extremely obvious and pervasive topic, which has led many scholars to write articles about it.The author believes that Wang Xiaobo’s cognition of power stems from his daily experience in adolescence and the knowledge supplement in his reading and study careers;these personal experiences are fully integrated into his novel creation and become the source of thought for his power narrative. In the Time Trilogy,Wang Xiaobo’s liberalism is fully reflected through various plots in the novel about the operation and deconstruction of power relations Combining Wang Xiaobo’s personal life experience, this paper selects some representative plots related to "penalty" "stigma" and "sex" in Time Trilogy, explores the presentation and deconstruction of power in his works, and give a brief analysis of liberal position of the power narration. The first chapter starts from the two aspects of Wang Xiaobo’s life experience and theoretical study, and analyzes the factors that influence and shape Wang Xiaobo’s cognition of power issues.Born in the 1950s,Wang Xiaobo experienced the Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution.During these two periods.many incidents which closely related to power issues occurred, making Wang Xiaobo truly feel the grand power discourse for the first time;these memories and the formation of his opinions has an inseparable relationship. In addition,Wang Xiaobo also learned relevant knowledge from reading and education. The power viewpoints of Russell.Foucault and others add to Wang Xiaobo’s theory.During his master’s degree at the University of Pittsburgh.Wang Xiaobo benefited from the conversation with Xu Zhuoyun. The investigation of homosexuality conducted in cooperation with his wife Li Yinhe also made him has a deeper understanding of the issue of power. The second chapter begins with the three aspects of the performance of punishment, the absurdity of stigma and the gamification of sexual behavior, and analyzes how the author deconstructs the power discourse in the novel. The scene of punishment is changed from the ruthless oppression of the top to the bottom into a role-changing performance. The prisoner is turned into a protagonist of the performance by the seemingly incompetent obj ect of oppression under the oppression, and controls the situation to a certain extent; In the transformation of identity.the pressure of power is easily dissolved. The stigma can be turned from a humiliating one to a code name that is forgotten and even an intimate nickname.Sexual behavior becomes a sadistic game that is not involved in reproductive order. This kind of parody of power dispels the high.unshakable power majesty in reality with its gameplay and variability. The pure and natural sexual description is a breeze with a rebellious meaning in the hypocritical environment, which is the state of equal freedom that the author truly agrees with and yearns for.The author believes that it is precisely in the reversal that the seemingly fixed power relations are subverted, the individual’s initiative has been highlighted, and the pursuit of liberalism is reflected. The third chapter begins with Wang Xiaobo s living state and the liberal ideas embodied in his essays.and briefly discusses the writing position of his intellectuals outside the system. With a view that he does not want to give his future to anyone and does not want to set up other people’s lives,Wang Xiaobo chose a negative freedom position that emphasizes the individual’s freedom from interference and infringement. This is also his concern for power while paying attention. This is also the reason why he is vigilant and alienated while paying attention to power. The power narrative in Time Trilogy is based on the writing position of Wang Xiaobo’s liberalism.
