From the perspective of Chinese learners,this paper focuses on the Princess of Naradhiwas University(PNU)in Thailand,where the author is an intern.The students in the second grade of Chinese compulsory course class and the third and fourth grade of Chinese elective course class are taken as the objects to analyze the factors that affect the learning effect of Chinese learners in this school.Academic record is one of the important reference bases for evaluating learning effect.Why with the same textbook,the same teacher,different students have different scores? The author used questionnaires,interviews and classroom observation methods to investigate and study this issue.The questionnaire survey is divided into two parts: the external factors affecting Chinese learning and the internal factors affecting Chinese learning,because the Chinese scores of students at Princess of Naradhiwas University in Thailand are affected by these two factors.At the same time,the author divided the two classes that received the questionnaire survey about their scores into three groups,A,B and C,for data comparison and analysis.The results of the student performance survey on Chinese compulsory courses and elective courses show that there are certain differences in the scores of the two classes.According to the data analysis of the two groups A,B,and C in the survey,the students in the group A compulsory class scores lower than the C group compulsory course students.In addition,students in the A group elective class scored higher than those in the C group elective class.Therefore,elective classes have better grades than those in compulsory courses.From the external factors of the Chinese language learning and the internal factors affecting the Chinese compulsory course classes and elective courses classes,the results of the three groups A,B,C can be seen: 1)Family background: It is better to have the same basic family background.2)Learning environment: very close,3)Teaching materials: Students are interested in the content of the textbook,4)Teacher:The relationship between the teacher and the student is very good.5)Teaching method:use the repeated teaching method and the question teaching method to give lectures,6)Teaching environment: Students are very satisfied with Chinese teaching.7)Learningmethods: Students often participate in activities in the Chinese Department.8)Learning experience: Students often use Chinese and often communicate with Chinese people.9)Learning Motivation: The student's family's concern and support for the second language is also important.This will allow students to study hard and develop a suitable goal for themselves.
