| The object of this article is Qin-style Taofou,which is characterized by small mouth,large belly,wide shoulder fold or round fold.It is a kind of pottery practical storage device.Sometimes it is also used by Qin ethnic people as a musical instrument for banquet and entertainment.It is often accompanied by kettle,steamer,pot,pot and buried in Qin tomb as a practical pottery.It is a typical Qin instrument.A total of 1011 Taofou specimens were collected in this paper,which were divided into three regions according to the unearthed burial sites: guanzhong region,central plains region and jianghan region.According to the typological study of zoning,the number of pottery reels in Guanzhong area is the largest,the change is the fastest and the most typical;the shape of pottery reels in Central Plains area is similar to that in Guanzhong area,but their appearance and popularity are slightly later than that in Guanzhong area,and gradually formed the characteristics of this area in the continuous evolution and development;the pottery reels in Jianghan area are mostly inherited from the late Warring States period to the Qin Dynasty in Guanzhong area.The overall evolution of the Taofou shape in Xing Dynasty is quite different from that in Guanzhong and Central Plains.In addition to the three areas divided,there are scattered pottery towers unearthed in Hebei,Gansu,Ningxia and central and southern Shanxi.The emergence and evolution of Taofou in Central Plains and Jianghan are all related to the military migration of the Qin people.Combining archaeological materials and documentary materials,we can see the military policy of the Qin Dynasty through the evolution of Taofou,which confirms the wide spread of Qin culture after Zhang Yi captured Shanzhou and Baiqi captured Yingdu.In addition,the article also discussed the function of Taofou and the pottery inscription inscribed on Taofou. |
