| Educational Informationization has gradually become an inevitable requirement of educational development.As an important executor of educational informationization,teachers’ Information-based teaching ability has become an essential basic ability of teachers,and becomes increasingly important with the continuous development of educational informationization.Therefore,more attention should be paid to the research of teachers’ Information-based teaching ability.In order to be competent in English teaching under the new situation,high school English teachers must have a high level of Information-based teaching ability.However,at present,there is a lack of research on the teaching ability of English teachers ’ informationization,and there is never a unified conclusion on the connotation and structure of informationization teaching ability.The purpose of this study is to explore the definition and structure of the information-based teaching ability of high school English teachers,to investigate the current situation of the development of the information-based teaching ability of high school English teachers,to analyze the factors affecting the development of high school English teachers ’ information-based ability,and to explore the strategy of developing the information-based teaching ability of high school English teachers accordingly.This study selected 126 high school English teachers from all regions of Shandong Province as the research object,through the combination of questionnaire and interview research methods,the above research issues were explored.This paper draws a conclusion:(1)The teacher’s information-based teaching ability is the ability to apply the TPACK.According to TPACK theoretical framework,it can be divided into six dimensions: information-based teaching consciousness and attitude,information technology literacy,information-based teaching design ability,information-based teaching implementation ability,information-based teaching evaluation ability and information-based teaching research ability.(2)High school English teachers have a high level of information-based teaching ability as a whole,but there are significant differences in information-based teaching ability among teachers in different regions and among individual teachers.(3)The information-based teaching ability of senior high school English teachers is not affected by gender and education,but by teaching age,professional title,teacher training experience and pre-service teacher learning experience.In addition,the development of high school English teachers’ Information-based Teaching ability is also influenced by school factors,regional development gap,resources and environment,teachers and so on.(4)The development of high school English teachers’ Information-based Teaching ability can be improved from three aspects: one is the level of teachers;the second is the level of schools;the third is the level of society. |
