A Study On The Modern Public Moral Governance From The Perspective Of Historical Materialism

In the process of modernization,along with the continuous development of economy,people’s life field is expanding constantly,and the interaction among people is becoming increasingly frequent,prompting the society to change from the traditional one of privates to the modern one of publicans.The result is the continuous growth of publicans and expansion of the social public field.Public morality is the most basic behavioral norm in modern society,which plays an increasingly prominent part in maintaining public order and social harmony and stability.However,due to the imperfection of market economic system,the increasing diversification of ideology and values of social members,and the gradual reduction of the binding force of the traditional morality,in the field of public morality there are such phenomena as weak market contract sense,weak social public spirit,loss of belief in transition,loss of moral bottom line and ignorance of public rules in modern society.The role of public morality in regulating the relationship among people and maintaining social stability has been weakened and even the development of economy and society has been influenced.To understand and solve the problems of public morality in Chinese modern society,we must take historical materialism as the guidance and start from the dialectical relationship between social existence and social consciousness to make in-depth analysis on the current social and economic situation that forms the public morality and ideology of our country,put forward effective governing method to solve the public morality problems in Chinese society in the new era,enhance the public morality level of social members,promote the all-round development of human beings,and provide civilized,harmonious and caring social environment for the realization of national governance modernization.
