De is one of the most commonly used auxiliary words in Chinese expression. When used as an attributive marker, its occurrence rules are very complicated, which has always been a complicated question in the linguistic circle. In the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,we also find that the occurrence of the attributive mark de has become a great trouble to the learners at different learning stages. Therefore, based on a large number of corpus, this paper examines the concealing and revealing rules of the attributive marker de in single modifiers. The main concerns are the attributive marker de must be hidden and must appear. This paper is composed of the following five parts. In the first part, review the past studies on the occurrence problem of attributive marker de,including two parts of ontology research and teaching research.According to this, the theoretical framework of this paper is determined. The concepts of single attribute and multiple attributives are clarified, and the single attribute are further divided into simple attribute and complex attributes. The research is limited to single attribute, and the corpus processing and paper writingare all based on this. The second part, based on the "HSK Composition Corpus"(version 2.0),we select the relevant corpus that meet the scope of this paper, analyze the corpus one by one,and finally use the statistical methods to analyse the occurrence errors in single attributive, which contains the influences of learner's level, the types of the errors and attributes. And then explains these results. In the third part,we examine the occruence errors of the attributive marker de in simple attribute.According to the constituents of attributives,it is found that the highest proportion of errors are pronouns, nouns and adjectives. The most common ones are pronouns and two-syllable adjectives. The fourth part examines the occurrence errors of the attributive marker de in complex attributes.Finding that overall errors are far more than internal errors of complex attributes. And classify complex attributes according to the composition of them, then find the most prone structures of overall errors and internal errors. This chapter is also the innovation part of this research, which takes the complex attributes as an independent object, examines a considerable amount of corpus, classify the two perspectives of overall errors and internal errors, and then state from the compositions of complex attributes. The fifth part, based on the analysis of the previous analyses,we put forward some suggestions on the perspective of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and make the theoretical results into practice. However, the actual effects still wait for further teaching practices.
