| The Confucius Institute is an organization established by Hanban to promote Chinese language and spread Chinese culture.As of December 2018,China has established 548 Confucius Institutes and 1193 Confucius Classrooms in 154 countries and regions.There are three Confucius Institutes in Morocco.The author taught at the Confucius Institute of Hassan II University for one year and found that the Confucius Institute’s Chinese cultural activities are rich and diverse,and it is well received by local students.The survey object of this paper is the Chinese cultural activities of the Confucius Institute of Hassan II University.Through questionnaires among students of Confucius Institute,volunteers and local citizens,and using the "innovation diffusion theory" proposed by Rogers in the 1960 s as the theoretical basis,the results of the questionnaire were analyzed from five factors: relative advantage,compatibility,complexity,test ability and observe ability.This paper aims to investigate the current situation of the Chinese cultural activities of the Confucius Institute from 2017 to 2018 and provide reasonable suggestions for the existing problems.The whole paper consists of six parts.The first chapter is divided into six aspects: the reason for choosing a topic,the meaning of writing,the research summary,the research object,the theoretical basis and the research method,in order to understand the writing background of this paper.The second chapter analyzes the current situation of Chinese cultural activities of Confucius Institute of Hassan II University in Morocco.The third chapter analyzes the attitudes of students,volunteers and local citizens on Chinese cultural activities through questionnaires,and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of Confucius Institute in holding cultural activities.The fourth chapter is taking the “Spring Festival Carnival” as a typical case,the cultural activities of the combination between Confucius Institute and the Embassy were introduced in details.The fifth chapter is based on Rogers’ "innovation diffusion theory" and proposes feasible suggestions from the communicator,the content of communication and the media.The sixth chapter is the conclusion,summarizing the research results of this paper and shortcomings. |
