Research On Performance Techniques And Artistic Styles Of Pinghu School And Pudong School

Pinghu School and Pudong School,as two influential pipa schools in modern China(Wuxi School,Pinghu School,Pudong School,Wang School and Chongming School),both have their own biographies of the ancient song Haiqingna Swan.This song is the earliest known Pipa ensemble Wu Qu in Chinese history and is famous for its unique musical expression.However,due to various factors such as complicated techniques,aesthetic similarities and differences,few people play it today.This article aims to explore the differences in performance techniques and artistic styles between Pinghu School and Pudong School through a convenient comparison of " Haiqing na crane" and " Haiqing na Swan".At the same time,it causes players and music scholars to pay attention to and think about traditional schools and traditional works to a certain extent.
