| Interpersonal sensitivity is a personality that is too sensitive to other people’s behavior,cognition and emotion in interpersonal communication.As a personality factor,Interpersonal sensitivity has an important influence on interpersonal relationships among college students.In this study,based on the Interpersonal Sensitivity Measure which was made by Boyce and Parker(1989),and using the method of interview and questionnaire investigation to revise the Interpersonal Sensitivity Measure of college students,then using the measure to investigate the general situation and characteristics of interpersonal sensitivity among 1045 college.In the end,using this measure,Perceived Social Support Scale and UCLA Loneliness Scale(Version3)to investigate the relationship among the interpersonal sensitivity,perceived social support and loneliness in 1045 college students,so as to provide the evidence of empirical research to promoting the attention and understanding of college students’ interpersonal sensitivity personality,reducing the loneliness of college students.The main results are as follows:(1)The revised Interpersonal Sensitivity Questionnaire has 29 items,which was composed of the following dimensions:suspicion,vulnerability,shyness,need for approval and separation anxiety.It has good reliability and validity.(2)In demographic variables,the scores of interpersonal sensitivity,vulnerability,shyness and separation anxiety among female students were significantly higher than male students,and the scores of shy among the students from countryside were significantly higher than the students from city.The scores of interpersonal sensitivity,suspicion,need for approval and separation anxiety among single parent college students were significantly higher than the non-single parent students,but there was no significant difference in the scores of interpersonal sensitivity on professional and grade.(3)Interpersonal sensitivity,perceived social support and loneliness were significantly correlated.There was a significant positive correlation between interpersonal sensitivity and loneliness.There was a significant negative correlation between social support and loneliness.There was a significant negative correlation between interpersonal sensitivity and perceived social support.(4)The Interpersonal sensitivity of college students had a significant positive predictive effect on loneliness,perceived Social Support had a significant negative predictive effect on loneliness,interpersonal sensitivity had a significant negative predictive effect on perceived social support,perceived social support played a partial mediating role between interpersonal sensitivity and loneliness. |
