The combination of the Internet technology and education has increasingly become the impetus for the development of educational modernization.“Baicizhan”App is such a kind of burgeoning Mobile learning terminal,which has been widely popular among English learners with different ages for its efficiency.The research is aimed at helping senior high school students to acquire various,efficient English vocabulary learning strategies by means of mobile learning equipments to enlarge their vocabulary.Based on the Information Processing Theory,this research makes use of questionnaires,experiments and interviews to do research on the senior high school students’ English vocabulary learning strategies.Three research questions are put forward as follows:(1)What’s the current situation of the senior high school students’ English vocabulary learning?(2)How can the mobile learning Apps be combined with English vocabulary memory strategies?(3)Are mobile learning Apps helpful for senior high school students to effectively acquire English vocabulary memory strategies? According to the results of questionnaires,we have a general idea of 79 senior high school students in Anhui Fuyang on their knowledge of “Baicizhan”App and their usage of English vocabulary memory strategies.After that,the“Baicizhan”App is applied to English classroom teaching to combine its design concept with English vocabulary memorizing strategy training.Finally,SPSS19.0 is adopted to analyze students’ scores in English vocabulary test.In addition,in order to demonstrate the efficiency of “Baicizhan”App on senior high school students’ English vocabulary learning strategies,retrospective interviews with students by Nvivo are applied.According to the data analysis,we can conclude some findings:(1)More than70% of the senior high school students think that the boring vocabulary memorizing method is the main reason for their lack of vocabulary and low English scores;(2)“Baicizhan” App can help students acquire lexical association strategy,word formation strategy,spelling strategy more efficiently;(3)With the help of “Baicizhan”App,students’ vocabulary levels in experimental class improved significantly.With the above findings and analysis,we can come to the following conclusions:(1)As a new,visualized learning tool,“Baicizhan”App can enlarge students’ vocabulary and is very popular among senior high school students;(2)“Baicizhan”App can help students acquire the formation of words,correct their pronunciation of words and master connections between words;(3)Students in experimental class show disadvantages in lexical context strategy and flexible application strategy,which indirectly reflects the limitations of mobile learning software design of“Baicizhan”App.
