As the seventh art,the film has evolved to a significant form for people to entertain as well as to gain information and knowledge after undergoing the hammering over hundreds of years.In recent years,with the rapid development of China's film industry,micro film has become a key field attracting innumerable film practitioners due to its advantages in manufacturing period,the amount of investment,broadcast duration and other aspects.At the end of the graduate career,the author selected the scrip of micro film The Knot between Father and Daughter in which the principle of that the micro film should contain certain social implications and effects is upheld as well as the artistic value is guaranteed.This thesis is completed under the guidance of tutors,summarizing and analyzing the creation process of micro film from the script writing in the preliminary stage,the shooting in middle stage and the editing in late stageThe Knot between Father and Daughter is a feature film that mainly focuses on the bond of kinship.Focusing on the relationship between father and daughter,this film shoots a story between father and daughter who are originally estranged due to the lack of communication for quiet a few years,and then they unfasten the knot of contradiction and tighten the knot of family affection through a series of coincidences and mistakes.It ended with warmness of returning back to the family.The film concentrates on the depth of paternal love in the delicate relationship between father and daughter as well as how urban youngsters cope with the balance between the lover and the original family in the marriageable age.This film is expected to make more people recognize the greatness of paternal love combined with the importance of the family by the analysis of the relationship of father and daughter.The author will expound the creation process of The Knot between Father and Daughter from five parts.The first part is the introduction,which includes the background of creation,creation mentalities and creation methods,director's elaboration and paper's structure.The second part will elaborate preparations for the film,including the script creation,the selection of actors and sites,shooting scrips design and other aspects.The third part elaborates on the preliminary preparation,problems encountered in the creation process of this micro film and the corresponding solutions.The fourth part mainly deals with the post-production process of the film,covering the selection of shooting ingredients,editing,color-adjustments,sound processing and the processing of other audio-visual elements.The last part will profoundly summarize and reflect on the film creating process to conclude the shooting techniques as well as to determine the direction of the future creation career.
