A Study On Zhu Youzeng’s Shi Di Li Zheng

The prosperity and revival of Confucian classics in the Qing Dynasty promoted the climax of Confucian classics research,and its complicated methods of textual research will solve some doubts of two thousand years.With the development of plain learning in the Qing Dynasty,the rules and regulations,collation and compilation of lost Confucian classics,historiography,natural arithmetic and geography in the Qing Dynasty developed greatly.The geography of The Book of Poetry in the Qing Dynasty inherited the academic achievements of Wang Yinglin’s Geography of Poetry Examination.Jiao Xun’s Geography Explanation of Mao Poetry(Volume 4),Zhu Youzeng’s Shi Di Li Zheng(Volume 7),Gui Wencan’s Geography Explanation of Mao Poetry(Volume 6),Yin Jimei’s Geography Examination of Poetry(Volume 2),Pan Jili’s Geography of Poetry(Volume 1),Hu Bingyuan’s Geography Examination of Poetry and wait for a batch of achievements.Shi Di Li Zheng is one of better works in this period.Shi Di Li Zheng was written in Jiaqing period,which fully absorbed Wang Yinglin’s academic achievements of Geographical Examination of Poetry,and attached importance to the development of geographic textual research since the early Qing Dynasty,pushing the geographic textual research of the Qing Dynasty The Book of Poetry to its peak.From Zhu Youzeng’s overall academic point of view,he is very familiar with the historical materials of the pre-Qin Dynasty.His works include The Collection and Annotation of ZhouShu,the annotation of Zuozhuan,and The Chronicle of Bamboo Books.It is precisely the author’s accurate grasp of the historical facts of the Pre-Qin Dynasty,coupled with his knowledge of public opinion and geography,that pushed the book Shi Di Li Zheng to a new height.The first chapter introduces the author’s basic life and learning.He lived in the years of Daoguang period and Xianfeng period.He was a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations in the eighteen years of Daoguang period.He on the academic atmosphere of the author’s time and the guild regulation,the author makes an analysis of the inheritance of Mao Zhuan,Zheng Jian,Mao Shi Zheng Yi and other books,and the basic opinions related to The Book of Poetry in the Shi Di Li Zheng.Shi Di Li Zheng not only cites more geographical features in geographical categories and historical and biographical categories,but also involves geographical knowledge in a series of Fu works such as Bei Zheng Fu.This section intends to investigate the book Shi Di Li Zheng on the collection of books of previous generations,as well as the absorption of geographical academic achievements of the Qing Dynasty,and explore the impact of the study of Yugong,Shuijing,Geographic Records on it.Secondly,the Geographical Features of Poetry corrects the errors in the records of previous geographical documents.This chapter analyses the errors and textual research methods.The special textual research of geographical nouns in The Book of Poetry can enhance the understanding of Poetry.This chapter also analyses the author’s understanding of poetry tenet and texts after textual research on geography,attaches importance to Sinology,attaches importance to "changing style into elegance",and attaches importance to the characteristics of geography,customs and human mood in Poetry.Chapter Four analyses the similarities and differences between Geographical Characters of Poetry and other Geographical Works of Poetry in Qing Dynasty.Jiao Xun’s Geographical Interpretation of Mao Poetry,Gui Wencan’s Geographical Interpretation of Mao Poetry and Yin Jimei’s Geographical Interpretation of Poetry are all famous geographical works of Poetry in Qing Dynasty.These books came into being in different times,including those popular in the Qianlong periods and Jiaqing periods,and those in the late Qing Dynasty when there were internal and external troubles;the author’s textual research characteristics were different,some focused on ancient books,and some "archaeological textual research both today".By contrast,this section will make a basic analysis of the geographical overview of the Qing Dynasty’s "Poetry",and then make a further analysis of the "Poetry Geographical Characteristics" in the development of "Poetry" geography.The contribution to make a more pertinent judgment.In addition,as a special book on geography of Poetry,later generations quoted it quite a lot.For example,Chen Huan’s Shi mao Shi Zhuan Shu and Ren Zunshi’s Geography Examination of The Book of Poetry are cited more frequently.
