| This study focuses on the movies directed by Béla Tarr,and explores the matter of time and space in the movie from the following three aspects.Firstly,the space showing of the movie is classified and analyzed,and discussed the deployment of movie space.Secondly,the time presentation of the movie is classified and analyzed,and then the combined connection modes of different time segments are researched.Finally,this study explored the ultimate meaning conveyed by the movie time and space.For the purpose of better understanding of Béla Tarr 's idea on movie time and space,the study elaborates the ontological question of movie(record the real existence of time and space),the narrative form of movie(long-lens minimalism),and Tarr's thinking about the world and human are conveyed by the movie time and space.Early on,Tarr showed the social reality of Hungary through the suppression of human existence in the closed space.Later films showed a state of exhaustion of life by presenting people's boring life day after day.Tarr's movies creation trajectory extends from the individual to the destiny of the nation,the country and even the whole humanity,and eventually leads to the question of the meaning of the ultimate life.Under the realistic premise of "God is dead",Where should we go. |
