The main subject of this unit is about the elenchus of Socrates and focus on two questions. The first one is whether we can summarize a general structure of elenchus from the dialogue of Plato. If this is possible,is there an aim in this type of conversation? The whole circle is mainly divided into two groups.the trust and the skeptical. The trusts think that the general structure of elenchus is possible but in another faction is impossible. For the second question, the trust can be divided into two groups. The constructivism believes that the elenchus is to prove the error of the view of others. The non-constructivism believes that general structure of elenchus is possible, but for Socrates, the aim of elenchus is not to prove the right or wrong of the others,is to convince the others.I accept the constructivism;I thinks that it is possible to summarize a general elenchus. In addition, for Socrates, there is an aim in this type of conversation, and it is constructive. The non-constructivism thinks that the constructivism is wrong because of the "The priority of definition knowledge",I'm using the Socrates'Daimonion to approach this question and to fight back. The whole passage consists of four parts, the first part is mainly about the problem of Elenchus and its purpose. And,the difference between trust, constructive and the non-constructive,and it is concluded and discussed by the researcher. The second part is main part of the trust, analyzing the general structure of elenchus also tells that the constructive and the non-constructive is because the two types of different view, and leads to the problem "the priority of definition knowledge".The third part is about the daimonion of Socrates,it's problem and the development.Through the discussion on the rational relationship of daimonion of Socrates, and combining with the passage, this will prove the belief and the characteristics of Socrates.Taking this as an evidence, this can solve the problem of the constructive and the non-constructive.The fourth part is using the Plato early text as evidence, using two text to analysis, and to retort the view of skeptical, telling that the common structure of elenchus is existed. The sixth part is the last summary part.
