As a philosophical text, it is the foundation to study Socratesï¼Plato thought. But whetherit is “the historical Socrates†problem, the belonging of their thoughts in the dialogue, or relatedto one of the philosophical problems, have not reached the unified solution. These three issuesprovide us Socrates-Plato research thought. For the researchers, they must understand that“Socrates problem†and learn to read the dialogue in a reasonable manner. This is the foundationof studying Socrates-Plato problems.“Virtueâ€,“goodâ€,“forms†and other issues inSocrates-Plato thought are significant, which we can call it the ultimate purpose of theirphilosophical activity. But on this issue, researchers tend to suffer impact of stereotypes, holdingsome of these issues for granted understanding. They attribute “virtue†Problems to Socrates, andattribute the “good†and “forms†problems to Plato; it would appear that it is like to solvecomplex problems. However, this understanding is not only a problem with it on the defaultmethod, but also separates the internal relations of “Virtue†and “good†problem. Researchers arerarely to see why, in the presence of evolution will such a dialogue has: From the “virtue†to“good†question. This paper has set aside a number of preset stereotypes, but to identify newresearch questions principle, return to the dialogue text to study Socrates-Plato thought of“virtue†and “good†issues. This paper selects the “Charmindes†as the entry point, andcomplemented by “Menoâ€,“Symposiumâ€,“Republic†and other contents, to discuss theevolution from “virtue†to “good†problem in Plato’s dialogues. This article will discuss in detailon the cause and reason for the difficulties in the search for definition of “virtueâ€. This dilemmareveals a kind of “scientific boundariesâ€, and why the “good†which at first is as virtue’spredicate in the final turned into a noun in the dialogue as being’s (including the “virtueâ€)ultimate reason and purpose. This paper is divided into four parts. The first part is the cleanup work on researchfoundation, which aims to discuss some researchers who are prone to misunderstand. This misunderstanding led to separate the “virtue†from the “good†problem. It explained an approachto solve this issue, expressed the view of “Socrates problemâ€, and established the principles ofstudying referred to in this article and what some individual words means. Socrates-Plato’sresearch work should be back to a detailed reading and analysis on the text. The second partdiscussed the how the “virtue†issues and the “good†as a predicate word in Socrates-Plato’ssociety became a philosophical concerns, while the “virtue†and “good†issues in “Charmindesâ€were explicitly analyzed. Firstly, this section discussed the external and internal causes of thisproblem arising. Then it focused on the development and evolution of the context of this issuelayers of analysis of “Charmindesâ€, in order to show that this chapter as a dialogue explored that“virtue†provides the definition of the philosophical work exhibited in two dimensions: the“good†and “existenceâ€. Section III discusses on the “virtue†which is defined as the pursuit ofthe ultimate development of the good’s concept. Firstly it discussed the “spiritual midwiferyâ€failure in the pursuit of dialogue with the use of themes resulting from uncoordinated in“Charmindesâ€. Secondly, it took care of the “Symposium†and “Republic†and other contents, inorder to show that only to define the “good†as the ultimate existence and purpose of ontology, and phase separation with a variety of sensual things can this be resolved on the “virtueâ€definition of ethics demands. The fourth part appraised the Socratesï¼Plato’s philosophicalthought and evaluation, including the rethinking of its “virtue†and “good†problem, as well asthe impact on idea of future generation’s philosophy. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Socrates, Plato, good, knowledge, existence | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
