| Parents pay attention to the quality of their children’s learning,that is,the degree of parental cognition,emotional emotions,and behaviors.Achieving goal orientation refers to how individuals viewing their task and themselves and how to assess the achievements.Test anxiety refers to a series of psychological and behavioral responses caused by the anxiety about possibly negative outcomes or failure in an evaluative situation.Research on the relationship among parents’ attention to children’s learning quality,achieving goal orientation and test anxiety can provide meaningful inspiration for parents to help their children achieve better academic performance,and can provide a new perspective for improving parent-child relationship,easing students` test anxiety and inspiring students` learning motivation.In the research,parents’ concerns about their children’s learning quality,achieving goal orientation,different test anxiety in demographic variables,and the relationship among the three were investigated with 655 fourth-grade students using the self-compiled "parents’ concerns on children’s learning quality questionnaire" and the "four-point achieving target vector table" and "test anxiety table" as survey tools.The research found:(1)Parents’ concerns about their children’s learning quality differ obviously in five demographic variables,which are family source,whether only child or not,whether class committees or not,grades,and parents` education,but not obviously in gender and whether parents divorced.(2)Primary school students’ achieving goal orientation differs obviously in six demographic variables,which are gender,family source,whether only child or not,whether class committee or not,whether parents divorced,and grade,but not obviously in parents` education.(3)The overall situation of primary school students’ test anxiety is at a moderate level,and their text anxiety differs obviously in five demographic variables,which are family source,whether class committee or not,whether parents divorced,grade,and parents` education,but not obviously in gender and whether only child or not.(4)There is no relationship between parents` emotional concern and the dimension of anxiety about children’s learning quality,and there is significantly negative correlation between parents’ attention to children’s learning quality and other dimensions and their total scores and the remaining dimensions of test anxiety and their total scores.(5)There is significantly correlation between parents’ concern about their children’s learning quality and achieving goal orientation.Among this,parents’ concern about children’s learning quality and their total scores and the results of the approach,are significantly positively relevant with the grasp of the approach and its goal-oriented total scores,but negatively relevant with the score avoidance significantly;parents’ emotional concern and behavioral concern about children’s learning quality are significantly positively relevant with mastery avoidance;parents’ emotional concern about children’s learning quality and the total scores of parents` concern about children’s learning quality are negatively relevant with mastery avoidance significantly.(6)There is a significant correlation between achieving goal orientation and test anxiety.Among this,there is a significantly negative correlation between the grasping approach and the test anxiety dimensions and the total scores;the score avoidance is significantly positive relevant with the test anxiety dimensions and their total scores;the master avoidance and test anxiety have significantly positive correlations with the total scores and test scores;the goal-oriented total score was significantly positive correlated with the test anxiety score.(7)Mastering the approach has a full mediating effect on parents’ concern about children’s learning quality and test anxiety;score avoidance has a full mediating effect on parents’ concern about children’s learning quality and test anxiety;grasping avoidance has a full mediating effect on parents` concern about children`s learning quality and test anxiety. |
