Since the Wei and Jin dynasties,the ancient Chinese genre books have been developing with distinctive characteristics of The Times.Up to the time of emperor Kangxi and Yongzheng of the Qing dynasty,there are as many as six imperial imperial books.Among them,The Parallel characters has not been given much attention since it was published,and the research on it is even rarer.This paper studies The Parallel characters from the perspective of compilation,version and style.In the introduction part,the definition,origin and research status of genre books are sorted out.It is concluded that this kind of book has the nature of "data compilation" and is originated from “Huanglan”.After “Huagnlan”,through Wei Jin,Tang Song,Ming and Qing dynasties,the development of genre books presents distinct characteristics of The Times.After summarizing the development of the official books before the Qing dynasty,it is concluded that the official books have always been in a prominent position by virtue of their broad content and careful style.Chapter one studies the compilation of The Parallel characters.In the Ming and Qing dynasties,the feudal centralized politics came to a climax,and the number of taxa compilation reached the highest level in the past dynasties.After entering the Qing dynasty,in addition to developing the economy,the rulers of the Qing dynasty also gradually strengthened the education of Han culture within the imperial power.Emperor Kangxi received the education of Han culture from his childhood,highly praised the "Learning of Zhuxi",and even promoted it to the whole country after he was in power.Kangxi's ideas of culture and education influenced the political environment of the whole country and the literary atmosphere of the early Qing dynasty.The academician courtyard since the Ming dynasty establishes is the important cultural department,the Qing dynasty inherits the Ming dynasty official system,and improves somewhat on this,in compiles official,selects from the academician courtyard,forms "the academician courtyard--the cabinet--zhan matter government office" the cultural department of a continuous line.These officials from the academician academy,with their profound cultural foundation and knowledge reserve,contributed most of the power in the process of revision.In the second chapter,the edition and engraving of are analyzed.In the Ming and Qing dynasties,with the continuous development of engraving technology,book engraving entered a highly prosperous period.Kangxi set up the supervision office in the hall of martial heroes,which was responsible for the publication and distribution of official books.The books compiled and engraved by Wuyingdian were made of superior materials and exquisitely carved,which gradually became an important publishing institution in the Qing dynasty.was edited and finished in Yongzheng period,which was published in Wuyingdian and later included in The Sikuquanshu Huiyao and The Sikuquanshu.In the Tongzhi and Guangxu period,lithographic copies were published by western lithographic technology.The development of The Parallel characters version runs through the history of the Qing dynasty,and the sorting out of the version can better show the development of the official engraving institutions of the Qing dynasty.Chapter three analyzes the style characteristics of.Chinese ancient books are so vast that the bibliography and classification methods are always the important links of literature sorting and retrieval.Ancient Chinese typology books uphold the principle of "follow the category" and show different characteristics in the continuous development.In this chapter,the author starts from the aspects of the scope of receiving words,catalogue style,entry arrangement and citation arrangement of The Parallel characters,summarizes its style characteristics,and compares it with other books,in order to get the unique aspects and shortcomings of its style.The remaining part discusses the relationship between the compilation of ancient Chinese class books and politics by combining the examples of Chinese rulers compiling large class books and the development of ancient Chinese politics.The compilation of official books in ancient China is more than that in the early period of the dynasty.This section through the in-depth excavation of this aspect,in order to be able to get the real role and value of ancient Chinese books.
