China is one of world-renowned ancient civilization. The nation of Chinese has created a glorious history which has been write on the cultural media -- the multitude of classics documents, .During the past long history , due to the natural or artificial cause, these documents suffering many misfortunes, the breakage and losing were very serious. The scholars of latertime feeled so regret that had searched many losing books for various aspects, and trying to renew the missing books. Therefore, the subject of"Jiyi"(the compilationg of losing works) rised.About the origin of"Jiyi", the academia always considers that it begins at Song dynasty and developed at Yuan and Ming dynasty , In the Qing Dynasty, the subject of"Jiyi"reached the peak. During this time, the scholars concerned"Jiyi"were so many; the method with"Jiyi"was so scientific , the experiences of"Jiyi"was so rich. Those were so perfect that is better than every previous generation. But there are several weak points on"Jiyi"in Qing Dynasty, such as the strength they focus on every target was not average; on the sort ,they focus on the lossing books of"Jing"department; on the times, they are foucs on the missing works before Tang Dynasty. Although the following scholars have made many works about the"Jiyi"of Qing Dynasty, after reading these bookmakings careful, we will discover that the works about researching that the people of Qing Dynasty who collected and compiled the documents of Tang Dynasty were very few. This has been the fade zone in the study. This text attempts to arrange and analyse the elementary conditions of"Jiyi"that the people of Qing Dynasty who collected and compiled the documents of Tang Dynasty. This text emphasizes particularly on the"Jiyi"of the"Sikuquanshu"ministers had done; the"Jiyi"of Qing Dynast that the personal did; the"Jiyi"of"Quantangshi"and"Quantangwen", etc. I have summarized the characteristics of"Jiyi", and want to further the study deep-seated.
