Zheng is one of the most representative traditional national plucked instruments in China.which has a history of more than two thousand years.As a subject which has experienced the history of music development,Zheng’s development has emerged from the beginning of the Western Zhou Dynasty and run through it all the time.The music culture has accumulated for thousands of years which also carries the home and country feelings of the literati and Mohists of all dynasties,and has a very long and brilliant history,so it is called "Guzheng".For thousands of years,the original "Qindi"(today’s Gansu,Shaanxi)has been radiating outward,and constantly blending with local customs,language habits and folk music,thus forming various schools of zither with distinct regional style.It is precisely because of the continuous inheritance and development that Guzheng has attracted more and more attention,even shining in the international arena.According to the geographical location,the school of Guzheng can be divided into the northern Zheng School represented by Henan and Shaanxi,and the southern Zheng School represented by Zhejiang and Chaozhou.Based on the Yellow River,there are three schools of Zheng with similar styles in this area: Henan Zheng School,Shaanxi Zheng School and Shandong Zheng School.According to their geographical location,they belong to the characteristics of the northern region and are collectively called the Northern Zheng School.Although they share the same origin in geographical conditions and cultural origins,due to the differences between local folk music and dialects,they have similar but quite different styles of Zheng music.The reason why these excellent traditional songs have been sung for a long time and are full of vitality.Geographical adjacency can also produce different playing styles and habits,and how the Zheng School uses these "unique" to express the same theme,thus producing a distinctive style of music.These are the contemporary Zheng practitioners need to think about.When I was growing up in the north and learning northern Zheng music,I had a strong interest in northern Zheng School,but also had certain research advantages.Summarize the research results of predecessors,collect the bibliographic literature,and combine with their own intuitive experience of performance.Starting with the music style and unique techniques of Henan Zheng and Shaanxi Zheng,this paper collects and analyses the Zheng songs with the same theme-historical theme of the two Zheng schools,trying to make people have a deeper understanding of the two Zheng schools,and at the same time to think about and disseminate the excellent songs of the two Zheng schools.For the study of Zheng schools with various characteristics,it is undoubtedly a glimpse of the leopard by comparing Henan and Shaanxi schools,but it can arouse the interest and comparative study of Zheng schools,which is of research value.From small to large,the study of these two Zheng schools has triggered the exploration and inheritance of other Zheng schools.In order to better protect,inherit and develop all Zheng factions.
