Research On Zhendexiu’s Literary Thoughts

In the late Southern Song Dynasty,Zhen Dexiu,as a generation of Wenzong,had both anthologies and collected works.Zhen had multiple identities of philosophers and politicians.Also,He was a representative of mainstream academics because of his great influence on style of writing and intellectual ethos in his time.The formation of Zhen Dexiu’s literary thoughts not only was influenced by the horizontal contemporary schools and thoughts,but also affected by the patriarchal clan of vertical academic origin.What’s more,his ideology was a transformation based on literary selection and literary creation.Further more,the division of literary and rational was broken down,which promoted the academic atmosphere and the transformation of the Song Dynasty’s culture.This article is divided into five chapters.The introduction summarizes the research achievement related to Zhendexiu since the 1970 s,and it classifies the his research results after the 1980 s into four parts:the study of his literature views,his essays,philology and research on his administrative.In addition,those research value and method were demonstrated.The first chapter sorts out the literary thoughts of Zhen Dexiu.This essay traced back his literary thoughts,upon source of Chonggu,Shangdan,Zongjing and Lide.From the relationships of ancient and the present,the work and the martyrdom,the classics and the history,articles and characters,this essay examine Zhen’s consideration of poetry and Tao.The second chapter takes Zhengdexiu as the core,and investigates the construction of interpersonal network in the friendship activities between Jianghu and Weiwei,orthodox and unorthodox scholars.He,together with his social network,strengthens the continuity of academic inheritance and academic exchange.The discussion on the article with the scholars of the Imperial Examination was supported by Zhen’s political view.The third chapter clarifies the relationship between "Authentic Articles" and his education and experience.Zhendexiu treated equally on the standard of poetries and articles.It is very different from Zhu Xi’s theory of poetry and art.His article "Authentic Articles" shows the complex literary concepts of philosophers in the form of literary criticism.The fourth chapter focuses on the imperial competitive examinations andinvestigates Zhendexiu’s literary proposition,the principle of select and appoint scholars and the impact on his intellectual ethos and style of writing when he serves as the chief examiner or the exam marker from three aspects,the pre-examination,the examination,and the "Authentic Articles" that becomes the house-use book.The fifth chapter examines whether the poetry creation of Zhen Dexiu is consistent with the standard of the method adopted by the Authentic Article.It proves the consistence between Tao Yuanming’s merits on his personality value and style characteristics with Zhen’s taste of aesthetic.After that,there are some similarties,such us the feeling of sorrow,grief,loyalty and sorrowful true virtue between Du Fu and Zhen because of their experience of going through hardships.The number of roads has led to the inheritance and generalization of the "Jinggong School" and the "Dongpo School" in the Song Dynasty and the Sixth and Sixth,which coincides with the "Jingtonghuacheng" of the Song Dynasty culture.
