A Study On Fujian Modern Entrepreneur Chen Tian-en

In the course of the development of China's modern national industry,many excellent entrepreneurs have sprung up in Fujian.However,current researches on Fujian entrepreneurs mainly focus on the overseas Fujian merchants,and pay less attention to the local entrepreneurs.This paper takes Fujian local entrepreneur Chen Tian-en as the research object.Chen Tian-en established several famous companies,such as Fukien Paper Manufactor and Amoy Canning Co.LTD.He advocated saving the country by developing enterprise,and promoting national economy.He made great contributions to the development of societyand economy in modern Fujian.And Chen Tian-en still had a lot of experience in business management that are worth learning like adopting scientific management method,paying attention to marketing strategy,introducing advanced technology and equipment,expanding the industrial chain and so on.At the same time,he was the one full of patriotism who was concerned about the development of the nation's medicine,revolutionary cause,education and charity.As a devout Christian,he established Christian fellowship inside the company and applied the Christian concepts of fraternity,equality and service which reflected Christian faith to the management of employees.This is a unique phenomenon in the modern Fujian business areas.
