Chinese independent documentary has appeared since the 1990 s,and it has been nearly 30 years since its inception.After the new century,Chinese independent documentary has made outstanding progress in narrative.The narrative features of quite different ages,and these new narrative features are the shining points of independent documentaries after the new century.This paper organizes and analyzes the development trend of Chinese independent documentary after the new century,and combines the author’s creative works.The narrative structure,narrative perspective and narrative language of the independent documentary were analyzed in this study.Finally,the works and the thesis were summarized and reflected.In the paper,the author lists many excellent independent documentary works produced by China after the new century,and studies their narratives.For example,Xu Tong’s famous works – Shattered,Fortune Teller,Wheat Harvest,Zhou Hao’s Senior Year,and the new work that has been frequently won in international competitions in recent years – Fan Jian’s Still Tomorrow,Fan Lixin’s Last Train Home,Yu Haibo and Yu Tianqi’s China’s Van Goghs and other works,through the narrative structure,narrative perspective and narrative language of these independent documentaries which born after 2000 Research has more strongly proved the viewpoint of the paper.The research of this paper mainly includes six parts.The first part is the introduction.In the introduction,the author sorts out the research background and domestic research status of Chinese independent documentary after the new century,and puts forward feasible research methods,pointing out the significance of the research.The second part is an overview of Chinese independent documentary after thenew century.In this part,the author puts forward the concept of independent documentary,at the same time,the author analyzes and summarizes the production funds,production methods,communication channels and the conscious characteristics of Chinese independent documentaries after 2000.The third part is a summary of the narrative structure of Chinese independent documentary after the new century.In this part,the author explains the concept and characteristics of the narrative structure,and sorts out the more narrative structure of linear narrative structure,plate narrative research and center concatenation,and points out that the narrative structure is also the expression of the independent director’s personal style.The fourth part summarizes the narrative perspective of Chinese independent documentary after the new century.In this part,the author points out the realistic perspective of today’s independent documentary in China.Under the premise of realistic perspective,the director expresses deep reflection on reality,affirmation of individual dignity and self-examination of aphasia culture.The realistic perspective is a major feature of the independent documentary after the new century.It is the embodiment of the social value of the independent documentary.The fifth part is a summary of the narrative language of Chinese independent documentary after the new century.In this part,the author illustrates with several works to analyze the montage application of independent documentary,the processing of sound and the poetic expression of scenery shot,and points out that the independent documentary after the new century is bold and different in narrative language.The sixth part is to summarize and reflection of the research.In this part,the author summarizes the inadequacies of her own works,analyzes the development prospects of Chinese independent documentary after the new century,and puts forward the importance of narrative research for independent documentaries. |
