The end of the cold war has caused the collapse of the bipolar world order. The changes in geopolitical structure and the impact of India s domestic economic crisis have forced India to make modest adjustments to the principle of non-alignment that has been pursued since the founding of the country, that is,the principle of global multilateralism and non-alignment.Looking for a delicate balance between India,India began to actively seek breakthroughs in foreign exchanges. In view of India’s own advantages in the defense industry, defense has become an important resource for India’s foreign contacts. This paper attempts to introduce the defense diplomacy practice in the Asia-Pacific region after the Cold War by introducing the concept of defense diplomacy, and to explore the interests behind it through the facts of the past, and then analyze the impact of India s defense diplomacy in the Asia-Pacific region. The embarrassment itself in defense diplomacy and its impact on China’s future strategic choices. This article is divided into five parts, namely, the introduction, the first chapter of defense diplomacy and its development in Asia, and the second chapter of India’s defense diplomacy practice in the Asia-Pacific region-in the case of Myanmar,Vietnam,Japan, and the third chapter of India.Defense Diplomacy Appeals in the Asia-Pacific Region and Chapter 4 India’s Defense Diplomacy in the Asia-Pacific Region.Among them, the introduction part mainly reveals the research background and significance of the topic, and summarizes the existing research results of the scholars at home and abroad. On this basis, the research ideas and methods of this paper are put forward. This article gives a brief description of the innovations and difficulties on this topic. The first chapter sorts out the existing concept of "defense diplomacy" in the academic circle and the specific development of defense diplomacy in Asia.As a kind of imported goods,"defense diplomacy" is mainly controlled by foreign scholars. Therefore, the concept of this chapter mainly focuses on the research results of foreign scholars. In the process of conceptual combing, this paper finds that the practice of "defense diplomacy" is far away. The time before the concept was shaped, the essence is still the diplomatic means to achieve a certain national interest, but this diplomatic means is based on the defense resources known as violence. From this perspective, after the Cold War Defence diplomacy is the application of soft power that is attractive to military power.Specific to the development of defense diplomacy in Asia, the article believes that although the official use of defense diplomacy is officially applied to follow the pace of Europe, but carefully combing the history will find that due to historical reasons, the defense interaction between Asian countries is just not enough But not without involvement. The defense interactions at the bilateral level in Asia mainly occur in the US-led allies system and between Southeast Asian countries. The multilateral level can be traced back to the five defense arrangements, the Western Pacific Naval Seminar, and the Pacific Army Management Seminar. At the same time,Asian countries have placed greater emphasis on pragmatism when it comes to defense diplomacy. In order to make the research object more specific, the second chapter of this paper selects the defense interaction between India,Myanmar,India,India and Japan as the object of studying India’s defense diplomacy in the Asia-Pacific region. It details the Indian government and the above three after the Cold War.The development and evolution of the defense relationship between the two countries, and believes that with the continuous evolution of the geopolitical structure in the Asia-Pacific region,India’s geo-strategic value in the Asia-Pacific region is increasingly apparent, and India is gradually exerting its strength in the field of defense diplomacy, whether in the breadth of cooperation or There have been significant changes in depth. In addition, the Navy has become a trump card for India’s foreign defense diplomacy. On the basis of combing and summarizing the objective facts of India’s defense diplomacy, the third chapter focuses on the deep demands of India’s defense diplomacy in the Asia-Pacific region. The article believes that India is on the one hand to jointly rectify border cancer, maintain national unity, and social stability. On the other hand,it is based on the secondary optimization of existing superior resources-sitting in the Indian Ocean and blessing the Andaman Islands and the Nikba Islands.Through the development of good external defense relations,India can fully integrate existing superior resources. To achieve maximum strategic space. The fou rth chapter analyzes the positive impact of India’s defense diplomacy in the Asia-Pacific region. It believes that defense diplomacy has opened up the situation for India to some extent.Through defense diplomacy,India has been able to participate in the construction of the security framework in the Asia-Pacific region. The voice was heard, but on the other hand, due to the shortcomings of its own defense industry system and the bureaucracy of the government sector,it also imposed restrictions on India’s defense diplomacy. In addition, this chapter also re-examines the possible problems that India’s defense diplomacy may cause to China. It believes that India’s defense diplomacy in the Asia-Pacific region will somehow compress the strategic space around China, but given China’s economic volume and India itself. The restrictions on defense diplomacy and the real negative impact that India can impose are very limited.
