Application Of Light In Watercolor Figure Painting

This paper takes the light in watercolor figure painting as the main research object.On the basis of the existing theory and practice,firstly,it combs the development process of watercolor painting in Europe from the 13 th century to the 20 th century.It expounds that the application and expression of light in watercolor painting is a gradual development and perfection process,and explores its influence on the picture and its promotion to the development of watercolor painting.Secondly,through the analysis of specific watercolor figure paintings,the author explores how the creator enriches the content of the picture,organizes the form of the picture,strengthens the theme of the work,and expresses his inner feelings through the use of light,so as to elaborate the important role of the use of light in watercolor figure painting creation.Finally,through the creative practice of watercolor figure painting,try to use light to enhance the overall artistic effect of the picture to make a new exploration,reveal the artistic value of light in watercolor figure painting.
