Nowadays,the tide of informationization and intellectualization is irresistible.How to effectively use information technology to promote educational reform and improve the quality of education has become one of the basic professional abilities of contemporary teachers.However,the Action Plan of Educational Informatization 2.0 points out that after years of exploration and practice,the revolutionary impact of information technology on education has initially appeared,but there is still a big gap with the requirements of the new era.Teachers have the basic ability to apply information technology,but the innovative ability of information technology teaching is still insufficient.In the key points of the Ministry of Education's work in 2019,it is pointed out that the project 2.0 will be launched to promote the integration of information technology and education and teaching,and consolidate the foundation of education development.English education,as an important part of civic quality education,is becoming more and more important to promote the "vigorous implementation of quality education and the all-round development of students".We must accelerate the process of deep integration of information technology and English teaching,cultivate and improve the level of information technology application ability of English teachers to meet the needs of cultivating high-quality talents in the information age.According to the specific requirements of the Ministry of Education's "Standards for Information Technology Application Ability of Primary and Secondary School Teachers(Trial Implementation)" for teachers ‘application of information technology in education,teaching and professional development,Based on relevant researches at home and abroad,In this thesis,we investigate the information technology application ability of English teachers in three junior middle schools under 271 education group.Through the questionnaire data analysis,combined with the interview results,get 271 junior middle school English teachers' information literacy education group cannot meet the demand of education informatization development,ability to plan and prepare is not perfect,teaching organization and management ability is weak,the use of information technology evaluation and judgment ability is not strong,the use of information technology ability of learning and development needs to be promoted.At the same time,in view of the specific problems,we put forward countermeasures to improve junior middle school English teachers' information technology application ability:Strengthen training to further improve teachers' technical literacy;Lay a solid theoreticalfoundation to enhance the ability of planning and preparation for carrying out informationized teaching;Strengthen the application of information technology in teaching and improve the organization and management ability of information teaching;Pay attention to using information technology to carry out teaching evaluation and diagnosis,improve teachers' ability of evaluation and judgment;Make full use of information technology to promote professional development and continuously improve learning and development ability.The research can provide some experience and reference for the improvement of junior middle school English teachers ‘information technology application ability,and has important practical significance for promoting the sustainable development of basic education informatization.
