Silk occupies an important position in China’s economic and cultural history.Its color scheme collocation often contains great cultural value and unique chinese traditional design concepts.How to analyze and utilize this information is of great significance.Color scheme rules analysis and extraction of silk can apply traditional color design concepts to the design of contemporary silk products,assist designers learn from traditional color matching style better,satisfy the diversified and individualized consumption demand of the silk market and improve the design efficiency of silk productsThis thesis based on the color database of silk relics proposes a method of extracting and reusing color matching rules.The method combines theoretical knowledge of related fields with computer-aided color matching method.The research is based on a national technology support project named the Research on Silk Relics’ Preservation and Reconstruction.This method includes three parts:color extraction,color matching rules extraction and sample automatic coloring.This thesis firstly separates the texture regions from pattern edge structures by calculating regional gradient information.Texture filtering algorithm is then used to remove the interference of texture on color extraction.Finally,the color clustering results are obtained by using density peak clustering algorithm.In this thesis,the extraction of color matching rules is decomposed into two parts:common color extraction and common color matching rules.Firstly,the clustering algorithm based on HSV color space is used to extract common colors.Afterwards,association rules algorithm is used to mine association relations among data,which transforms the abstract color matching characteristics into specific color matching rules.In the aspect of automatic coloring,this thesis firstly uses color block mapping to realize automatic coloring.After that,the color matching results are evaluated by the color harmony model.The genetic optimization algorithm is then used to improve the color matching results.And finally several color design schemes which conform to the color matching rules of silk relics are generated at the same timeThis thesis completes the research from single fabric color extraction to multi-fabric color matching rule mining,which has great reference value.This method can quickly color silk product drafts and improve the color matching efficiency of silk products and transform the color matching characteristics into specific color matching rules,which have great practicability.
