Study On Mural Art Of Cisheng Temple In Wen County,Henan Province

The Cisheng Temple is located 20 kilometers west of Wen County.The temple preserved two Yuan Dynasty buildings and murals,the murals in Cisheng Temple provide valuable image materials for the study of the painting art of the Yuan Dynasty.It also helps people to understand more intuitively and vividly the artistic aesthetics,religious beliefs,customs and features of the society at that time.This thesis mainly includes four parts: The first part introduces the history,location and architectural features of Cisheng Temple.The second part summarizes the background and content of mural painting in Cisheng Temple;The third part analyzes the artistic features of Cisheng Temple mural in detail from line drawing,color and composition,and introduces the social functions of the mural..The fourth part compares and analyzes Cisheng Temple mural with Yongle temple mural and Guangsheng temple mural,and draws a conclusion that they are the same and different artistic features of yuan dynasty mural.This article explores the artistic features of murals in Cisheng Temple,so that these precious cultural relics which will disappear due to natural weathering and exfoliation,artificial destruction and other reasons will receive more attention and protection,so that the art and culture of such small folk temples as Cisheng Temple can be inherited.
