Research On The Ancient Stage Of Yuci District

As a place for carrying various kinds of opera,the ancient stage witnessed the history of the opera development.Researching ancient stage is of great value for the study of the opera development in one place.Therefore,it is an indispensable part of the research on opera cultural relic to carry out on-the-spot investigation of the stage.There are many ground cultural relics in Yuci which is located in the middle of Shanxi Province.Now,there are 43 ancient stage.According to the existing features of the remains,there are 5 Ming Dynasty stages and 38 stage Qing Dynasty stages.As important opera cultural relics,these ancient stages scattered in Yuci countryside witnessed the development and maturation of Zhonglu Bangzi in Yuci.Those ancient stages are of high research value for the development history of Jin Opera.Through the field invesitigation to Yuci Ancient Stage,I have a clear understanding of Yuxi Ancient Stage,the formation,development,and prosperity of Zhonglu Bangzi,Zhonglu Bangzi Banshe from the middle period of the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China,the famous artists of Zhonglu Bangzi,the Zhonglu Bangzi chapters and Shanxi merchants who supported Banshe.During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty,there was no genre of drama in Shanxi Bangzi.During the Jiaqing period,it gradually divided into the southern and northern part,and in the period of Daoguang ang Xianfeng,it began to come into being on the basis of the Puzhou Bangzi.It didn't become mature until the period of Tongzhi.From the investigation and statistics results of Yuci ancient stage,there were quite a lot of such stages in Yuci,the hometown of Shanxi merchants.Moreover,due to the support and participation of those businessmen,the stage construction tends to be gorgeous and exquisite.In some small villages,there are 2 stages,such as Nanzhang Village.From the remaining wall writing of the stage,many of the theatre troupes and artists active on the stage were closely related to the Shanxi merchants in the vast rural areas of Yuci from the period of the middle and late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China.Because it was a long time ago,most of the existing stages in Yuci are on the verge of extinction and facing serious damage,less remaining inscriptions and stage wall writing,which inevitably affects the accuracy of the investigation and research.In this article,the author,in accordance with the current town division in Yuci,will carefully analyze and explain the stages[2],which aims to make people have a comprehensive and systematic understanding of the existing stage,related history,culture and folk custom in Yuci,thus enhancing the consciousness of the protection of the stage,and promoting the protection of cultural relics and the inheritance of traditional culture.
