Study On The Precious Scrolls Of Guanyin

In recent years,with the great popularity of Intangible cultural heritage,especially Hexi Baojuan,Shaoxing Xuanjuan,Pudong Xuanjuan have been listed on the national intangible cultural heritage list,and precious scrolls have been paid more and more attention and protection.The value of the precious scroll was further excavated.There are a large number of the precious scrolls of Guanyin.These precious scrolls of Guanyin contain a variety of Guanyin stories spread among the people,which can help us to study the localization and secularization of Guanyin belief.Moreover,they contain rich religious connotations and have high academic research value.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which briefly introduces the origin,definition and naming of the precious scrolls.Then summarizing the research background and significance of the precious scrolls of Guanyin and the research progress at home and abroad.Finally,expounding the basic ideas and framework of the research on the precious scrolls of Guanyin.The first chapter,A comprehensive review of the precious scrolls of Guanyin.The first section mainly introduces the engraving and edition of precious scrolls,which are consistent with the overall engraving of the precious scrolls.The second section simply analyzes the evolution of the precious scrolls of Guanyin.According to the development characteristics of the precious scrolls in different periods,precious scrolls are divided into early precious scrolls,middle precious scrolls and late precious scrolls for study.The late precious scrolls gradually secularized into a form of popular literature.The second chapter,The multiple religious factors in the precious scrolls of Guanyin.It focuses on the analysis of the precious scroll of Guanyin from the religious perspective.As the goddess of mercy belongs to the buddhist gods,the scrolls are also deeply influenced by the Bianwen and Sujiang,which contains many buddhist factors.In the process of development,the precious scrolls absorbed many Taoist factors.Taoist sacrificial festival and lian Yang thoughts can be seen in manyplaces.In the middle and late period,some precious scrolls became the classics of the folk sects,which contained a large number of thoughts of the folk secret religions such as Wuwei religion,Western mahayana religion and Qinglian religion.The third chapter,A systematic study of the stories in the precious scrolls of Guanyin.Through the comparison with the novel and opera,this paper focuses on the analysis of the uniqueness of the Miaoshan story system,the Fish-basket Guanyin story system and the Baiyi Guanyin system in the precious scrolls.With the introduction of the precious scrolls into the lives of ordinary people,the religious function of the precious scrolls has been weakened,while its secular and story have been enhanced,and it is getting closer to novels and operas.These are mainly reflected in the popularity of the language,the closenesse of Guanyin and more dramatic contents.In the end,this paper summarizes the precious scrolls of Guanyin to study the folk beliefs at that time.We can understand the spiritual outlook of the Ming and Qing dynasties,obtain more literature materials from the treasure scroll and enrich the academic research on folk religion in the field of folk literature.
