Hong Hao,Poyang people, political and five-year(1115)entering career,Jianyan three-year(1129)to fake the Ministry of Rites Shangshu sent to the Kingdom of Jin,the early Southern Song Dynasty,Song and Jin wars continued.Song Gaozong dispatched a large number of envoys to the Jin State for peace talks in order to safeguard the precarious new regime.Since the first year of Jianyan(1127),a large number of envoys from the Southern Song Dynasty set foot on the road of Jin's peace. In May of the third year of Jianyan(1129),Hong Hao and his party set out from Jiankang and arrived at the military town controlled by Jin in the early winter of the same year. They were detained in the Embassy of Taiyuan for nearly one year.In the first year of Shaoxing(1131),Hong Hao was relocated to Yunzhong and banished to Lengshan for refusing to accept the request of Muhan's official post as a puppet. It was not until the 13 th year of Shaoxing(1143)when Jin Xizong's son was granted amnesty that Hong Hao returned to the south. From departure to return,Hong Hao lived in Jin for nearly fifteen years. He remained loyal to the Jin Kingdom. At last,he returned to the South, known as "Suwu of the Song Dynasty".During his life in the Kingdom of Jin,Hong Hao always thought about his country.During his exile in Lengshan, through his relationship with Wan Yan Xiyin,Hong Hao met many senior officials of the Jin State at that time.Through his contacts with them,he obtained some secrets of the Jin State and tried his best to pass them back to the Southern Song Dynasty. He hid the gold secrets collected in the old quilt and let the spies of the Southern Song Dynasty bring them back to Gaozong of the Song Dynasty. At the same time, regardless of his own living conditions,he did his best to help the Song people who had been exiled to the Kingdom of Jin,relieved them many times, helped them out of trouble, and buried the unfortunate people who died in the Kingdom of Jin and Song.He constantly searched for the position of the two emperors, and sent people to inform the two emperors of Hui and Qin of the news that Song Gaozong had ascended the throne. In the eleventh year of Shaoxing,Hong Hao asked Queen Wei to write letters in her own hand and sent Li Wei to Gaozong. The letters sent back by Honghao made Zhao Gou have his mother's message for the first time. While helping these Song people,Hong Hao was always concerned about his hometown.During the Jin Dynasty,he wrote many poems about his family.During his life in the Kingdom of Jin,Hong Hao never forgot his mission as an envoy. In Yunzhong,Honghao united with the envoys of the Southern Song Dynasty, such as Zhu Xin and Wang Lun,who arrived in the Jin Dynasty in advance,to buy businessmen to deliver the news of Gaozong's ascension to the emblems and emperors of Qin,who were far away from the Five Kingdoms. In the eleventh year of Shaoxing(1141),Hong Hao asked Queen Wei to write letters in her own hand and sent Li Wei to Gaozong. The letters sent back by Honghao made Zhao Gou have his mother's message for the first time.Gaozong also contributed a lot to welcome back to Honghao,Queen Mother of Wei.Through his relationship with Wan Yan Xiyin,Hong Hao met many senior officials of the Jin State at that time.He obtained some secrets of the Jin State through his contacts with them and tried his best to pass them back to the Southern Song Dynasty. He hid the gold secrets collected in the old quilt and let the spies of the Southern Song Dynasty bring them back to Gaozong of the Song Dynasty. At the same time, regardless of his own living conditions,he did his best to help the Song people who had been exiled to the Kingdom of Jin,relieved them many times, helped them out of trouble, and buried the unfortunate people who died in the Kingdom of Jin and Song.During the Jin Dynasty,Hong Hao also actively exchanged with the Wan Yan Xiyin family and influenced Wan Yan Xiyin and his descendants' political tendency with his own actions. In the course of contacting Wan Yan Xiyin,Hong Hao had many positive conflicts with him for the benefit of the Southern Song Dynasty. When teaching Xiyin Bazi,Hong Hao often persuaded them to implement "benevolent government",stop war, develop culture and teach them to be benevolent and righteous people.Hong Hao's words and deeds have exerted a subtle influence on Xiyin Bazi.Yanqing brothers accepted Hong Hao's thoughts and advised their father to stop fighting. In the fifteen years of Jin Dynasty,Hong Hao never gave up his activities of persuading him to surrender.Yu Wenxu,an envoy of the Southern Song Dynasty who had accepted the official post of the Jin Dynasty, helped the Jin people to persuade Hong Hao to surrender many times. In the face of the persuasion and surrender of the Jin people,Hong Hao always persevered and deliberately alienated Yu Wenxu, who had accepted the official post of the Jin people, and exhorted him that once he accepted the official post of the Jin people,he could not return home.During the Jin Dynasty,Hong Hao devoted most of his energy to disseminating Confucian culture and literary creation to the Jin people.Through getting along with the Jin people,Hong Hao won the love of the Jin people.Hong Hao wrote a book,Songmo Jiwen, about the custom and culture he saw in the Kingdom of Jin.The book details the mountain geography, historical evolution, imperial examination system and social customs and habits of Jinguo.Songmo Jiwen became a window for Song people to understand the social situation of Jin Dynasty.Hong Hao's records also showed the policy changes of Jin Dynasty at that time.Songmo Jiwen has also become an important material for the study of Jin Dynasty customs. The significance of Hong Hao's ambassador to Jin is not only reflected in his writing of Songmo Jiwen, but also in his perseverance in the fifteen years of Jin Dynasty, which eventually brought him back in full.It was also a great inspiration to the Song people at that time.He made an important contribution to the cultural exchanges between Song and Jin Dynasties.
