The period of classicism was from 1750 to 1820,including the pre-classical period and the classical period of Vienna.It is a stage of development to the peak,and the piano music of the classic period is also a milestone in the history of piano development.Classical piano variations are often completed with decorative variations.The decorative variation is the basic structure that preserves the theme,maintains the musical image displayed by the theme,maintains the basic skeleton of the melody,and uses the structure formed by the decorative changes of the texture,harmony,and the like,also called strict variation.In the period of classicism,there were three of the most famous composers: Joseph Haydn,Wolfgang Mozart,Ludwig van Beethoven.Haydn,the earliest representative of the Vienna classical music school;this article will select Haydn’s " Variations" Op83 this variation to analyze.Mozart,one of the most representative composers of the classic period,is also one of his important forms of musical works;this article will select Mozart’s "Little Star Variations" and "A Major Piano Sonata" first movement "Themes" Analysis of the two works with the Variations.Beethoven,one of the most representative composers of the classic period,has occupied an important position in his works.There are dozens of piano variations he has created.This article will select Beethoven ’ s 32 c minors.The Variations of Variations is analyzed.Through the analysis of the piano variations created by famous artists using decorative variations,how to use the decorative variations in the creation of piano variations;how to use the theoretical knowledge,apply the decorative variations to the actual works,and create "A big Happy little variation.
