With the advent of the era of knowledge economy,the society has higher and higher requirements on secondary vocational students.English listening and speaking ability,especially daily oral English communicative ability has become one of the standards for employers to measure talents.However,at present,the students in my class have the following problems: the English foundation is generally poor;Poor oral communication skills;Low interest in classroom learning;Low academic performance.In the face of this situation,the traditional teacher-centered professor teaching methods,learning from the situation,can not effectively stimulate students learning motivation,can't take care of students' learning basis and personality development,so the teacher must change the traditional teaching way,and apply the information technology support of situational teaching in English listening teaching in order to solve this problem provides a new possibility.This study takes constructivism learning theory,blended learning theory and situational teaching method as the theoretical basis,takes action research method as the main line,and comprehensively USES literature method,classroom observation method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to carry out research.Firstly,questionnaire survey and interview were conducted to focus on the problems of the students in the teaching class,and the reasons for the students' low interest in English learning and low learning performance were analyzed.Then,aiming at the existing problems in teaching,two rounds of action research were carried out on the classes.In the first round of action research,the "flipped-imitated" situational teaching method was designed.Through the application of situational teaching supported by WeChat,video short films and other information technologies before,during and after class,the traditional teaching methods are changed,with the emphasis on enabling students to imitate English listening and speaking dialogues.In the second round of action research,"flipped-multiple" situational teaching method was designed.The first-round action research program was enriched and expanded,and daily life scenes were added to highlight the ability of students to flexibly apply what they have learned.The research proves that both rounds of action research have achieved the expected teaching effect.In short,by applying the situational teaching supported by information technology to the listening and speaking teaching of secondary vocational school English,it overcomes the disadvantages of the traditional teaching mode and changes the current situation that students in the teaching class have low interest in English learning and low teaching performance,which is of certain reference significance to the majority of colleagues engaged in secondary vocational English teaching.
