Flexibility is one of the most important physical qualities in Latin dance. The better the flexibility, the more stretching, graceful and coordinated the movements will be,and it will help to reduce sports injuries.Especially in Latin dance and rhythmic gymnastics,it needs multi-joint movement, and flexibility plays a very important role.In the college entrance examination every year, there are a group of Latin dancing examinees, whose dancing foundation is weak, and only a few months to carry out sudden training, while the traditional training of flexibility quality takes a long time to accumulate over time to see the effect. Therefore,to explore what training methods to improve Latin dancing learners flexibility.Quality is the most effective, and it is very important to promote the development of Latin dance technique movement quality, movement range and movement difficulty. At present, most Latin dance teachers adopt the traditional dynamic stretching method and static stretching method to improve the flexibility of students in the process of teaching and training, but the traditional stretching method is time-consuming and painful, and easy to cause sports injury.Unlike the conventional stretching method,PNF stretching method can effectively improve the learners physical flexibility in a short time.PNF stretching method can optimize the control degree of nervous system on skeletal muscle, make the stretching muscle and antagonist muscle cooperate better, relax the antagonist muscle in the stretching process to achieve the effect of increasing the stretching range,so as to improve the flexibility of the stretching part.Through consulting the relevant literature,it is found that although PNF stretching method is used in many different projects of teaching and training, there are still few studies on the application of PNF stretching method in Latin dance flexible quality teaching and training. Therefore, this paper conducts a 12-week grouped experimental study on 40 Latin dance candidates by means of literature, expert interviews, experiments and mathematical statistics.20 students are trained by PNF stretching method and 20 students are trained by traditional stretching method, and their flexibility is analyzed after different stretching training.Whether strength has different effects, and analyze which training method can play a better role in flexibility.Finally,40 students were graded for Latin dance set,and the impactof different flexibility training methods on performance was objectively evaluated. After 12 weeks of experiment, statistical data showed that the flexibility of shoulder and hip joint of the experimental group was significantly different from that of the control group(P < 0.01),and the flexibility of waist and back was significantly different from that of the control group(P < 0.05).In terms of special performance, there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the completion of movement and final performance(P < 0.05),and there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the artistic performance(P < 0.01).The conclusions are as follows:(1)After three months' experiment,it was proved that there were significant differences in rope-crossing around shoulder, arm horizontal abduction and hip joint flexion among students, which indicated that PNF stretching could develop the flexibility of shoulder joint,waist-back joint and hip joint more effectively.(2)In terms of special performance, after the experiment, the results of the experimental group are better than those of the control group, which shows that PNF stretching method can improve the special performance more effectively.
