Director Baoping Cao's Film Creation Research

Director Baoping Cao has a certain degree of particularity in today's film.His film creation focuses on the story.Through a personal style of filmmaking,he portrays the anxious living state of social marginal individuals under the high pressure of social realities to map social reality issues.Different from the heavy expression of traditional realistic films,Baoping Cao's films carry a strong dramatic conflict with realistic documentary images.While guaranting the interest of the story,he also expresses his reflection on social humanities.It is of great research value to take the film creation directed by Baoping Cao as research direction.The dissertation is divided into five parts to study the film creation directed by Baoping Cao: The first chapter analyzes the influence of growth experience and market environment on Baoping Cao's film creation,briefly outlining his movie works.The second chapter analyzes the character creation in his film from three aspects: the choice of the "character prototype",the reconstruction of the “character archetype” image,character,and psychology in the film and the rational allocation of character relationships.The third chapter analyzes the personalized creative methods of Cao Baoping director's movie from two aspects: narrative and audiovisual.The fourth chapter analyzes the strong consciousness of humanistic reflection in Baoping Cao director's film creation and explores the spiritual connotation of the film.Chapter Five analyzes the inspiration and thinking in Baoping Cao director's film creation.The thesis attempts to provide reference for the future creation of domestic film by systematic researching on Baoping Cao director's movie creation.
