Since Sima Qian has described Han and Lao in Shih Chi,the relationship between Han and Lao has been paid much attention.Lao Tzu is the founder of the Taoist School of the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, and its philosophy deep mysterious.Five thousand words of Lao Zi is well known.Although Han Fei was the master of the Legalists,he had a very deep connection with Lao Tzu.Han Fei is very respected Lao Tzu,and he inherits the Tao theory Lao Tzu,narrating the necessity and rationality of theory of the law, strategy and power in ontology.Han Fei makes a realistic interpretation and extension of Lao Tzu’s profound Taoism, using it to support the autocratic theory,so he turns the Tao of Lao Tzu into the Tao of autocracy.According to the regularity of Taoism,Taoists put forward the concept of "Wu Wei",that is,less intervention and less strength, while Han Fei relied on Lao Tzu’s "Wu Wei" and Huang Lao’s theory to transform the "Wu Wei" into the theoretical basis of magic and the way to achieve the rule of law.Han Fei absorbed the basic views of the Lao Tzu’s theory of human nature, acknowledges the life has the natural nature of humanity, advocated by the guidance, realize the great work of the monarch.Han Fei also draws on the theory of human nature as Lao Tzu will rule on this idea, and makes it become the cornerstone to administer a country.Lao Tzu believes that human nature is simplicity, therefore advocated a return to the nature of human, while Han Fei believes that human nature is loves profit, and it should be the proper use of.Lao Tzu’s deal is a "small in territory and population",Monarch is govern by doing nothing that goes against nature, and people have the nature of simplicity.Unlike Lao Tzu,Han Fei believed that the monarchy should master the supremacy of dictatorship and establishing a unified country under the rule of law.It can be seen that both Lao Tzu and Han Fei advocated the rule of man and emphasized the role of the saints. The difference is that Lao Tzu is the Wu Wei view of sage, the sage is silent, kindly, unassuming, not civilized people under control,as much as possible to let the people develop spontaneously. However,Han Fei absorbed and transformedthe sage view of Lao Tzu,and thought that the saints should sit back and watch,in the dark, well versed in political trickery, law, thus civilize and control to the common people.Based on the text of Lao Zi,inspired by Huang Lao Taoist thought,Han Fei combined with every thinkers and had done the utmost for Lao Tzu according to the needs of the real world. This is not only conducive to the development and progress of the society at that time, but also left valuable wealth for the later academic research.
