The Cross Cultural Adaptation Study Of "The Belt And Road" International Students In Wuhan Colleges And Universities

Wuhan is the area that boasts most Colleges and universities in China.There are many foreign students come from different countries and regions every year.And with the implementation of "The Belt and Road" strategy,the quatitity of along students increased year by year in Wuhan colledges.At present,the research on the cross-cultural adaptation of overseas students in China is basically blank,it’s also a long way to study the cross-cultural in Wuhan,it requires further research.The study based on three universities in Wuhan,including Wuhan University,Huazhong University of Science and Technology,Huazhong Normal University took the foreign students of the three universities as the analyse sample.By using qualitative and quantitative methods,and theory combined with the actual analysis,it analyzes the situtation of the along the route countries’ students’ cultural adaptation in Wuhan from the motivation,language level,the living environment and its self endurance.The results show that,first of all,the motivation of students will have some impacts to their cultural adaptation in Wuhan;secondly,the higher the level of the Chinese language in cross-cultural adaptation is better,whereas it is not good;thirdly,the living environment which is more similar to theB&R countries,the situation of the adaptation is better,andwhereas it is worse;finally,the B&R countries’ students’ psychological endurance also has a significant relationship to their cultural adaptation in Wuhan.And then from two aspects of the teaching and management to put forward some suggestions to their cultural adaptation,aiming to improve the cultural adaptability of the foreign students in China.
