The Study On Lei Haizong’s Historical Viewpoint Of Cultural Morphology

Lei Haizong(1902-1962)was a renowned historian of modern China,was a representative of China’s historical viewpoint of cultural morphology,had a significant impact on history field and practical application.This thesis mainly use the literature research method and historical comparison method to comb the formation and development,content and application of his historical view of cultural morphology,then conclude and evaluate his position in the development of modern Chinese history and the inspiration to reality.The main content of this article consists of four parts:The first part discuss the forming conditions of Lei Haizong’s historical viewpoint of cultural morphology.The second part discuss the main content of his historical viewpoint of cultural morphology.The third part discuss the application of his historical viewpoint of cultural morphology:history and reality.The fourth part evaluate his historical viewpoint of cultural morphology.This article holds that Lei Haizong’ historical viewpoint of cultural morphology,directly inherited Oswald Spengler,but the theory of”Chinese culture has two circles ” was his original creation.He introduced historical viewpoint of cultural morphology this kind of philosophy of history,pay attention to the understanding of history,played a positive role in the development of Chinese history.Furthermore,his criticism of “no-soldier culture”,based on the profound insight of the shortcomings of the Chinese tradition culture.This interpretation still has a warning significance in today’s China.
