There are major differences between Chinese and Thai languages. In terms of vocabulary, the differences between the two are relatively large. The vocabulary of Chinese is rich and varied, and the two-syllable verb is more distinctive. No matter whether it is speech, morphology or internal structure, syntax,or semantics,it is more complex than Thai.Due to these differences in Chinese and Thai languages,Thai students will inevitably encounter various kinds of errors in learning Chinese syllable verbs, which affects the efficiency of Thai students in learning Chinese to some extent. The author studied Chinese in China and collected a number of compositions for middle-and senior-level Thai students. When communicating with Thai students in Chinese,he also found that these students did have many errors in using Chinese common syllable verbs.Bisyllabic verb bias as the research object. The research content of this thesis is as follows: Firstly, the similarities and dissimilarities of Chinese and Thai languages are compared from the perspectives of phonetics, morphology, semantic meaning, internal word formation, collocation, and syntactic functions of Chinese common syllable verbs. Then, through a questionnaire survey, the types and causes of errors in the learning of Chinese disyllabic verbs by middle and senior Thai students were analyzed. Finally, according to the research results, corresponding teaching suggestions are proposed. The results of the dissertation study have a certain guiding significance and practical significance for Thai Chinese vocabulary teaching.
