Chinese phonetic has developed in the new historical stage in 13th and 14th century which called modern Chinese stage.Yuan Dynasty as an impotant period of modern Chinese.Although Chinese phonology of Yuan Dynasty has been researched greatly,there are still many questions need to discuss further,currently.To study Chinese in Yuan Dynasty,in addition to the traditional rhymes books can be used as reference,the extraterritorial transcriptions also had academic value.J?mic al-taw?r?kh was written by Rash?d al-D?n who is a historian in Persia.The part of Chinese history is recorded on the ancient China from Pangu to South Song Dynasty,the number of Chinese history proper names was recorded in spelling of Persian.In 90s,professor Wang Yidan went to Iran University of Tehran for doctoral degree and her research was published in Iran.Then,she published History of China in J?mi‘al-Tav?r?kh in China.Beased on History of China in J?mi‘al-Tav?r?kh,the paper in order to provide an evidence for study on the phonetic features of Chinese in Yuan Dynasty.The main part of this thesis is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is a brief introduction to the Persian-Chinese transcription from the perspective of previous studies and historical perspectives.An analysis of the value of Chinese phonetic pairs in the study of Chinese phonetic characteristics in Yuan Dynasty.The second chapter is about the consonant system of Persian-Chinese transcription reflection of the Yuan Dynasty.This chapter is divided into two sections,the first section is the study of Zhizhuang zhang.The second section is the study of Yi rhyme.This paper summarizes the previous studies on these two groups of consonants,and analyzes the characteristics of the original consonants reflected by Bohan in the Yuan Dynasty.The third chapter is the vowel characteristics of Yuan Dynasty reflected by History of China in J?mi‘al-Tav?r?kh.This chapter is divided into three sections,starting from the end of entering rhyme,[-m]rhyme and[-n][-?]rhyme,respectively.An Analysis of the characteristics of Yuan rhymes reflected by Persian-Chinese transcription.
